Canada, Oh Canada.

Back in July, I crossed a big thing off my bucket list:
Artist Residency.

I spent a week in Picton, Ontario at Sparkbox Studio.
I went with the expectation that I may not even draw while I was there. Instead I came away with a small body of work, which all centers around the theme of 'drought.' To be honest, I've been in a creative drought myself, and perhaps this gave me the literal space to explore that.

It was really wonderful adventur-ing, relaxing, not needing to excuse myself to go paint, and being really sweaty and hot. (This summer has been HELLA cold in SF).

I'm currently exploring avenues to share the work either in a small gallery or as a zine.
More on that soon...
